The Heritage Golf Club will join facilities across the country in hosting Patriot Golf Day events for the eighth year during Labor Day Weekend, August 29 – September 1. Golfers will be asked to add $ 1 to their green fee as a donation to Folds of Honor.

Patriot Golf Day is the flagship fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides postsecondary educational scholarships for the children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed while serving our great nation. The Patriot Golf Day campaign is jointly supported by The PGA of America and the United States Golf Association

There are more than one million dependents of fallen and wounded military service men and women from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts alone and 87 percent do not qualify for federal education assistance (as of Jan. 1, 2012).
