Spotlight Film Series Attracts Senior Home Buyers

Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) August 05, 2014

Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams today announced that the August 5, 12 and 19 Women in Film presentations at the Mizell Senior Center in the heart of Palm Springs will bring in retired home buyers in force, looking to buy their retirement properties here in the Coachella Valley.

The Mizell Center is the largest senior center in the valley and arguably the most active. With an annual calendar that encompasses dozens of activities and events every month, it is always the go to spot for active retired residents of the valley. The highly popular Spotlight Film series will include discussions by Bernard Butch Epps, MFA, UCLA School of Film and Television, focusing on the ever changing role of women in film and in society over the past half century.

Schmett recently explained, The valley is filled with retired folks from the entertainment industry, all keen to stay in the loop and up to date about the people and trends they embraced for a lifetime. It is no secret that Palm Springs is a mecca for entertainers and industry elite, who love to congregate at the wonderful Mizell Center for events such as these. Butch Epps has lectured at our local California State University campus and is a fountain of knowledge. These kinds of gatherings are one of the primary reasons my clients feel they must have a home in Palm Springs.

Film showings and discussions begin at 1PM at the Mizell Senior Center located at 480 South Sunrise Way. Single session pricing and series pricing are both available to members and non-members both. Call ahead for details.
