NAPW honors Brenda Vazquez-Rivera, Owner of Futbol Extreme, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Rivera is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business management. As the largest, most-recognized organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and more than 400 Local Chapters.
Founded in November 2012, Futbol Xtreme is the dream of Ms. Rivera’s brother-in-law, an avid soccer fanatic who wants to provide clients with good quality yet affordable soccer apparel and accessories. I am helping with my brother-in-law Fernando’s dream of owning a successful retail soccer apparel store,” says Ms. Rivera, who is using the same exceptional sales and marketing abilities she used to become a successful real estate agent at ERA Statewide Realty.
Ms. Rivera has more than ten years of experience in real estate in the property management field. She joined ERA when it was American Dream Realtors in 2000. Her experience allowed her to develop a strong work ethic of quick response to client inquiries and strong problem-solving skills that made her take pro-active measures to assure her clients, whether seller or buyer, a smooth transaction. Ms. Rivera received her Bachelor’s degree in business management from Kean University.
